Factory, a voluntary group which consists of four high school classmates Sugimoto Toshinori (lead, act, direct), Takenaka Nobuyuki (direct), Matsuda Shota (design, edit), Kambe Tatsuya (direct, edit), created three short movies titled "August To September", "Jukebox" and "Sucide Notes Left Behind" in the midsummer of 2004 for participating Horikawa School Festival as "Factory Smallhall Shortfilm". Those movies were played at a smallhall of Horikawa Senior High School on Saturday, September 4th, 2004.

Factory は 4 人の高校同窓生：杉本敏則（リード・出演・監督）、竹中信幸（監督）、松田聖大（デザイン・編集）、神部達也（監督・編集）によって結成された有志のグループです。2004 年度の堀川高校での学園祭に「Factory Smallhall Shortfilm」という企画として 3 つの短編フィルム「August To September」「Jukebox」「Sucide Notes Left Behind」を制作し、2004年9月4日に同校の小ホールにて上映しました。
